Welcome to Fourth Grade!
Fourth Grade To Visit Bradford Woods
Fourth grade students, their teachers, and many parents of these students will be participating in a field trip to Bradford Woods that will last three days and two nights. This will be the fourth year that fourth graders have been given the opportunity for this outdoor study which enhances the fourth grade curriculum and provides hands-on learning experiences for the students. Students will explore our environment and participate in activities that are primarily conducted outside.
Pie Sales to Begin The annual fourth grade pie sales will begin on Tuesday, November 19th and conclude on Friday, December 5th. Each student who sells pies is attempting to fund the cost of his/her trip to Bradford Woods in the spring. The cost of a pecan pie if $8.00. all of the fruit pies sell for $7.00 each.
Fourth Grade Visits Dorsett Farm On October 22nd, the fourth grade made its annual visit to the Dorsett farm which is one mile south of Hall School. The students toured the grain facility and had the opportunity to see the results of this year's harvest. The field trip supports their study of agriculture as it relates to the fourth grade study of Indiana. Students were given bags of candy and peanuts at the conclusion of the trip.Hall Elementary greatly appreciates the continued support of Don Dorsett.
