The YMCA is a membership organization. Membership categories include: Youth (under 16), Young Adult, Adult, Family, Husband/Wife, Single Parent Family, Senior Adult and Senior Couple.

*Gold Star Membership includes free unlimited fitness classes and up to one and a half hours of babysitting free a day for children included on membership.  (Does not include aquatic fitness classes.).

HFC/Whirlpool and Sauna are now included in your membership. *No children under the age of 16 allowed to use the whirlpool or sauna at anytime.

PAYMENT PLANS

Monthly:: Use our convenient bank draft plan. A great way to budget your annual membership payment.
3 Month, 6 Month or Annual: Pay by check, cash, or bank card. The YMCA accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express for membership and program payments. Registration for classes and programs may be taken over the telephone using your VISA or MasterCard.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIPS

If you are a business with 5 or more employees and are interested in a corporate membership call the Office Manager at the YMCA for more information.

MEMBERSHIP NOTES

All YMCA members, program participants, and staff are expected to interact with one another with caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. We will not tolerate those who do not respect others, use foul language, or purposely try to hurt or steal from others while at the YMCA or in a YMCA program.

*Note: No children under thirteen are ever allowed in Fitness Center. Weight Equipment can be dangerous. Please respect all members by leaving your child in childcare room.

*No one less than 16 years of age is allowed to use any of the cardio equipment, this includes treadmills, bikes, rowing machine, versa-climber, ellipical and stepper.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

     Thanks to the generous support of donors to the YMCA Invest In Youth Campaign and the United Way, the YMCA seeks to provide financial assistance to any one who wishes to enroll regardless of ability to pay. Assistance in the form of waiver or reduction of fees is available subject to qualification of personal need, enrollment limitations and financial resources of our YMCA.

PARTICIPATION BY
NON YMCA MEMBERS

    Individuals who are not full facility members of the YMCA may participate in most YMCA classes and other activities for a fee and for a specific length of time. This is not in any way a full facility membership. Facilities are available to program participants only during the class period for which they are enrolled.

PROGRAMMING FOR PROGRAMMING FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

     Participation in any YMCA program is open to individuals with disabilities. Trained volunteers are available to provide assistance and support. To arrange to participate contact Judy Bucci, YMCA Executive Director. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to assist with this opportunity.

SENIOR HEALTH INSURANCE INFORMATION

     Seniors, do you need help understanding your health care coverage, Medicare, Medicaid or supplemental insurance? The YMCA is the Morgan County sponsor for SHIIP, the Senior Health Insurance Information Program. Supported by the Indiana Department of Insurance, SHIIP supplies trained volunteers who are able to provide objective, informed assistance. For more information or to serve as a volunteer call the YMCA at 342-6688.

GUEST PASS POLICY

     Guests may use the YMCA if accompanied by a YMCA member. A limit of three visits per year are allowed. THE FIRST VISIT IS FREE! Guest hours are restricted during busy facility hours. Youth 8 and under need to be accompanied by an adult member. Guest under the age of 16 are not allowed in the fitness center.
Daily Guest Pass Fees:

  • Family Pass - $8/day
  • Adult - $6/day
  • Youth (15 & Younger) - $4/day

BABYSITTING SERVICES

Babysitting is available for members while they are using YMCA facilities. Hours of availability are as follows:

Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Monday - Thursday 5:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Friday 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 am - Noon

Fees:

  • $2/hour for first child
  • $1/hour for additional child

Babysitting cards may be purchased at the Front Desk at $13.50 for nine hours of babysitting.



YOUTH ZONE
Supervised fun for kids ages 7 to 11. A FREE service to YMCA Members Includes:

  • homework help, if needed
  • games
  • art opportunities
  • appropriate computer access
Meets Mon - Friday
Time: 6:00-8:00 pm
Beginning Monday, November 2nd.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

  • You must have original receipt to receive a refund.
  • A 100% refund or class credit slip will be issued if the YMCA cancels a class you have paid for.
  • If a participant cancels four (4) days prior to the start of the class, they may receive:
  • 100% credit for future classes.
  • A refund check in one or two weeks, less a $5 service charge.
  • No refunds will be given after ther program starts.
  • In case of injury or illness necessitating withdrawal, all requests must be submitted in writing to the Program Director with a doctor's note during that session.
  • A credit will be issued for remaining classes that will be missed.
  • There is no provision for missed classes. If a class is going and is missed by the participant, it is at the participant's expense.
  • Membership dues and monthly preschool frees are non-refundable as are BAS, camp and preschool registration fees.
PUNCH CARDS:: All Punch Cards will be 24 punches, good for 10 weeks from the date of purchase.
